If you think the name
Mozart and the Whale
is an odd name for the movie, I have to say the premise behind this one is somewhat off-key, too. The movie follows a group of autistic people and, specifically, a the relationship between two of them. I had serious doubts about how good this movie was going to turn out, but was surprised.
Josh Hartnett
did a fantastic job playing the main character. I honestly wouldn't have expected him to do as good of a job as he did. I've seen this movie rated kind of low, but I'm guessing people didn't give the movie much of a chance. If you can stand an off-beat romance, give this one a shot.
