My name is Michael Flanakin. I'm a senior consultant with Microsoft Consulting Services with an Air Force background. I primarily work with .NET and related tools and technologies; however, I try to keep up-to-date on other platforms. I'm an open source advocate, when it makes sense, and have a strong software engineering and architecture background.

One important disclaimer: You'll find out quickly that I'm very opinionated. Like it or not, that's how it is. I am very open to criticism and am willing to admit when I'm wrong, tho. If you feel my opinions are wrong or based on bad information, please let me know. I'm up for a good debate, anytime. I always say that my way is the best way. If it's not, show me a better way, and I'll adopt that... making my way the best way, again *big smile*
